An opportunity is available for a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy to provide services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position involves coverage during a maternity leave from early January through the end of May, serving an approximate caseload of 50 students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive teletherapy speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate virtually with educators and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.
- Coordinate a transition period with the current SLP, including overlap days prior to the start date.
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services, preferably within K-12 settings.
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children and adolescents.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities to manage a sizeable student caseload effectively.
- Availability for maternity leave coverage from January 5 through May 29, with the ability to overlap for at least one day in mid-December.
Location: Lake Oswego, OR
